Hi ,
Based on my understanding, I am hoping I should be able to add JFB facebook comments module to the link below,
The though I am having is
We are planning to use Joomla Community answers and as part of the integration, we would like to integrate Facebook comments, in a way that, when the user clicks on the link below for example, then we would like to show the link contents as well as ability to show JFB facebook comments module to the right, so that users can answer the question using Joomla Community answers or they can post the question to Facebook using JFB facebook comments to the facebook wall.

I am hoping, this can be doable, appreciate, if you can reconfirm.........

With JFBConnect, it's very easy to add a comments box either using a Joomla module, or by simply inserting {JFBCComments} into template file for the extension your using.

Please note though that comments are not automatically posted to a Facebook Page, if that's what you're looking for. Comments will be visible on the page of your site they were posted on and the user will have the option to post any comments they make back to their own Facebook Wall.

Hope that helps explain, but if you have other questions, just let us know!

Thanks Alex,
In a nut shell, user can comment on any given Joomla link, by posting to his facebook wall and vice versa, thats cool, it opens up great options for us.

Thanks for your quick response.

Correct. The {JFBCComments} tag will automatically use the current Joomla URL.. but if you have a blog (for instance) which would link to the final article, you can use {JFBCComments href=http://site.com/link-to-final-url} so that the comments for the real Joomla page would be shown, even if that's not what the user is currently viewing.

Additionally, with JFBConnect v4.1, now available, you can use {JFBCComments href=http://site.com/link-to-final-url num_comments=0} and that will show a simple "There are 8 comments" block, so as not to clutter blog or listing type pages.

Hope that all helps explain, but again, if you have questions, just let us know!
