Can I set the Facebook comments box to appear at different widths depending on where it is displayed?
Hopefully, it can be at a narrower width in Featured article view, and another at blog and article view.

Ideally, it would follow whatever width the article happens to be, so narrower if layout demands. In blog view, it would have to be capable of handling two widths. Possible?

Also, is it possible to exclude specific articles from having the comments box, while the rest on the featured page do?

Lastly, I think the two options are at the start and end of an article, but could another option be in front of any 'Read More' tag? If there isn't one, then at the front or end?

Really hoping for all of this to be possible!

There's multiple ways to set the comment width. If you're using the Content plugin, you can set it individually based on the view: article, blog, featured, category layout, etc. If you're manually adding the comment box to an article with the easy-tag, you can specify the width in the tag itself: {JFBCComments width=200}

As for exclusion, that's very simple too. You can either exclude (or include) individual articles and/or categories. The system is extremely flexible to really target whatever you're looking for.

The "bottom" position, in a blog view will add the Comment box after (I think) the Read More tag. It sounds like you want it simply before the tag? I don't think that's really possible with how Joomla flows articles, but how we position the box has generally been well received by all our users.

Hope that all helps,
Alex
