today Ecwid just released version 9.0 and they now support / have a single sign on API.

Here is the link and information here: kb.ecwid.com/w/page/25232810/API#SingleSignonAPInbsp and here: docs.google.com/document/pub?id=17NtbqCO...kYmRk#h.aglttjzi6h7l

I am not a coder of php but I would like to know if you can implement this api and confirm so I could go ahead and order your product. Because you work with jomsocial and CB this is perfect.

I've never used Ecwid, but if it uses standard Joomla, you should be able to add JFBConnect easily to it. We have a lot of 'easy tags', like {JFBCLike} that you can put on your page for a Like button, as well as the easy registration capabilities among other things. If Ecwid uses standard Joomla (or JomSocial/Community Builder) users, JFBConnect should work just fine.

Unfortunately, I can't give any guarantees about compatibility, but we do have a 30-day money back guarantee if you can't get things going.

Hope that helps,
Alex

The thing is, Ecwid does not sign onto to Joomla at this point as they literally came out with their SSO api today.

A lot of people have been waiting for it and whether I use JS or CB I would most surely be using your FB solution as it seems to be the best. However, I just want to make sure that solution will suffice the SSO needs for my site in coordination with JS / CB and Ecwid to FB.

Perhaps I should be bringing these pains to JS or CB as I am not sure of how the whole thing will integrate. your info and thoughts are appreciated.

SoBe,
If Ecwid doesn't use the Joomla user's that are created, I don't think JFBConnect (or JS or CB) would help you much for user authentication and quick account creation. It would still (likely) help with easily adding Like, Comment, and other social features from Facebook to your pages, but again, that depends on how integrated Ecwid actually is with Joomla.

Without knowing anything about Ecwid, which I don't, it's tough to tell you how our SSO solution would work with theirs. Unfortunately, we can't test with every possible combination of extensions or things that integrate with Joomla, especially with every configuration option. That's specifically why we have our 30-day money back guarantee though, so that if it doesn't all work how you want, at least you aren't at a loss for subscribing to JFBConnect.

Hope this helps explain,
Alex
