The 'branding' you saw under the Like links wasn't actually branding for our product, that's a demo of Open Graph tags which are a part of Facebook. The Open Graph tags let you describe your page to Facebook (similar to normal meta tags) by specifying the title, description, and image to show in a users wall when they Like (or comment, send, etc) something on your site. JFBConnect makes it very easy to add these tags to your whole site or to individual pages so you can brand things how you want.
The only branding we have in JFBConnect is in the admin area, there are links to our site, and on the front-end there are -completely optional- "Powered By JFBConnect" links which can be disabled. These are generally used by users of our affiliate program to earn a 20% commission off any referrals.
After your subscription period ends, there is no difference in JFBConnect's behavior. The software does not have any knowledge of your subscription at all, actually. After the period is over, you simply loose access to support, should you need it, and new releases until you subscribe again.
Hope that helps, but if you have other questions, just let us know!
