Hi,

I am interested in the subscription, but just have some few quick questions here;

1) I have a number of articles posted on my website for a while. Of course, there are a lot of comments posted on those articles too.
If I install FBConnect, will these comments be deleted?

2) Can FBConnect integrate with Kunena Forum too?

Forgot to mention that I also use Jomcomment too, is it okay to use FBConnect?

You can use the Facebook comments abilities in addition to other comment extensions, like JomComment. However, comments posted into either will not show up in the other.. so it will actually be 2 different comment areas. One for your 'existing' extension, and another comment box/comments area for Facebook. Probably not what you're looking for, but might work for you.

As for Kunena, yes, we integrate with it. I'm not sure exactly what integration you're looking for, though, so I'll explain what our integration does. Right now, when a user creates an account using Facebook, their Facebook avatar and profile is imported into Kunena. The profile fields are completely configurable, so you can take the user's interests or bio and use it in their Kunena signature, or any other Facebook <-> Kunena fields can be easily configured. Additionally, when the user logs in, you can have JFBConnect update their Kunena profile/avatar if it's changed in Facebook.

Hope that helps explain. As always, we have a 30-day money back guarantee if you'd like to try JFBConnect out and see if it will work for you!

Thanks Alex.
So, if FBConnect generates another comment section rather than the existing one, can I just choose not to use the comment extensions.
I am still not sure how will it look like to have 2 comment sections (1) JomComment 2) FBConnect) in one page.
Would you mind having a quick look on my website; www.thaiwahclub.com/article-wah/australia/40-Wah-FAQ.html , and let me know a little more about how would it look like?

I love the fact about Kunena integration you mentioned and will try your product soon :)

or is there anyway to import all those existing comments?

There's no way to import comments into the Facebook comment module, because Facebook needs to associate each comment with a Facebook user. They don't allow importing because they couldn't verify that the user actually made all the comments you may be saying they made, which would be a big potential area for spam or misuse.

You're welcome to completely not use the Comment module though. Basically, everything in JFBConnect is flexible. You can use Like buttons and the Fan module, but not anything else. Many users just use the registration (and profile import features) alone. It's your choice. We don't enable anything across your site by default, you can turn on or publish things as you wish.

Hope that helps!
