What exactly is Joomla? And will your product work for me.

Joomla is a Content Management System (CMS), similar to Wordpress, which you may also be familiar with. It's what's meant to run an entire website though, and not something you can usually 'add' to another existing website.

Unfortunately, because of this, while Joomla is great (and so is JFBConnect), unless you're looking to rebuild your site using the Joomla system, I don't think it would work for you. I would highly recommend Joomla though as it's a great system to manage a website very easily, should you be looking for an easier route to content development and management. No problem. Glad we could help. Joomla takes a little bit of a learning curve (nothing crazy if you know websites in general), but once you get up and running, it makes managing websites a ton easier.
