Hi - I have a small game website that I would like to add facebook integration. Ideally I would like users to either sign up on the site or simply access the site via facebook app. The site is a mobile app (iphone.wikiklu.com) or a desktop at www.wikiklu.com.
My login/logout works via Ajax to an underlying PHP file.
Ideally I would like to post a users score to their wall or send an invite for someone to play.
is JFBConnect all that I would need?
Joomla is a Content Management System (CMS), similar to Wordpress, which you may also be familiar with. It's what's meant to run an entire website though, and not something you can usually 'add' to another existing website.
Unfortunately, because of this, while Joomla is great (and so is JFBConnect), unless you're looking to rebuild your site using the Joomla system, I don't think it would work for you. I would highly recommend Joomla though as it's a great system to manage a website very easily, should you be looking for an easier route to content development and management. Joomla's free, open-sourced and PHP based. For more information, see:
Thanks and good luck,
No problem. Glad we could help. Joomla takes a little bit of a learning curve (nothing crazy if you know websites in general), but once you get up and running, it makes managing websites a ton easier.
