Goodmorning, I'd like to buy your JFBConnect extension, but before I'd like to know if with this extension is possible that a facebook user, without any account on my site web (with JomSocial), to complete registration process on my site web (creating so an account on my site) MUST before fill some fields of his JomSocial profile (fields of my site that can't be mapped with facebook fields).

Thanks.

Currently, we don't have this ability. We modified JFBConnect (with the just released 3.1 version) to use a plugin system for profile integration, and the goal of this new system is to be able to add these types of features much more easily. While it's not there now, it will likely be in the 3.2 release.

I just saw the changelog and I saw this enhance:

JomSocial Profile Plugin v3.1.1 (3/1/2011)
Added option to update the JomSocial status with the user's current FB status on registration/login

Can you give me more information about this enhance? It's something about my question?

There is a back-end demo where we can test this component? I think this is very important because we can understand better every functionality...

Thanks so much!

No, that doesn't fill your needs. The ability to fill in 'extra' fields on the Registration page is something we're shooting to have in the 3.2 release later this month. The feature that mentions is that a user's status from Facebook can be pulled into JomSocial as the user's most recent status on your site.

We're working on a backend demo (as well as some other promo things) for JFBConnect, but simply haven't had the time to finalize everything we want to lately while we keep adding great new features.

Definitely keep an eye on the changelog, our blog, and/or our Twitter account. When 3.2 comes out, we'll be shouting about it from the rooftops :)
