Im using JFBconnect login module with CB 2.0.
I just simply can't log in via SClogin module because then Im getting error from CB:
Error

Please log in or sign up to view or modify your profile.

If I enable CB login module then I can log in by that.
Am I missing some settings here?

Thanks

Can you tell us if you upgraded from CB 1.9.x or is this a new installation of CB 2.0? We've done a little testing with CB 2.0, but not enough... though we've heard from a few users that things seem to be working as expected. It'd be good to know if you had a working configuration prior to CB 2.0 or not.

Either way, try checking the "Registration Component" setting in the CB module and switching that to either Joomla or Community Builder to see if either improves the login. That will help us narrow things down.

Thanks,
Alex

We just did some more quick testing with CB 2.0 and here's what we found:
* If the SCLogin module's "Registration Component" is set to Joomla, the user won't be logged in and will go to the CB login page
* The standard Joomla module has the same result.

If you switch the "Registration Component" setting in the SCLogin module to "Community Builder", the login seems to work as expected.

On previous versions of CB, a standard Joomla login worked. It seems like they've (for some bizarre reason) made it so you *have* to go through the CB login flow. I think that's a poor choice, but again, the setting above does seem to work.

Please test and let me know how that goes.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks Alex,

The problem is... the setting in SClogin module was set to "Community Builder" but I keep getting errors. So in my case it hasn't changed anything. Is there any other way to solve this. Users can't log-in. :(

Thanks

Could you PM site credentials to Alex so we can take a look? We're having a hard time reproducing this issue on our test site.

Thanks

I dont know what happened but know it started to work with the "CB registration" option in SClogin module. No error message but I will keep an eye on it.

I had it on my list to investigate today, but didn't get to it yet... so it wasn't me that changed anything. My guess is that you have caching enabled on your site and the old settings were still being used until the cache refreshed.

Either way, I'm glad things are working, but if you have any questions or run into any other issues, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
