Your user has authenticated on the front-end, but you will need additional permissions to be able to post.

Please see our channel configuration guide at www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/docs/post...reate-social-channel for how to resolve this error on the front-end and then how to finish the channel setup after the permissions have been approved.

i found the problem, as a super user i didnt ask by facebook to additional permissions , i added me as administrator and its work. i shouldn't be like that because Superadmin is higher than administrator, but its ok.

i need help in a few things.

first, my group is private, so just member of the group can see it, so why when i am disconnected from my site, i can see the group messages, i try to open it in new browser after i disconnected from facebook.

second, i am getting that message "Attachment UnavailableThis attachment may have been removed or the person who shared it may not have permission to share it with "

third, i dont see the avatars (my site is RTL)
and last - i cant click on anything inside the box, (even if i signin)

JFBConnect can't detect the user that is viewing the posts. When you choose to display the feed from a group on your site, it's your responsibility to determine how those posts should be displayed. For example, your site could only have registered users that are members of the group, in which case, only make the SCSocialStream module visible to registered users.

We can't selectively hide the stream or individual posts based on the visitor as that is not information Facebook returns with the stream.

second, i am getting that message "Attachment UnavailableThis attachment may have been removed or the person who shared it may not have permission to share it with "

This is a problem with some group privacy settings and is a bug with Facebook. It comes down to who is the owner of the group, the privacy settings for the group in general and who actually shared the image's privacy settings. We're looking into ways around this, but I don't have a timeline on when, or if, we can fix the problem.

I hope that helps explain things,
Alex

hi,
thanks, so for private group its not a good solution. its make the private group public, if i have a site that is mix, teacher and students and i want that just the teacher will see the group feed but i need that the students will register to the site too. i know that i can make a user group, but everything will be more complicate for me as admin, because i will need to check every user.
i think and maybe its hard to implement that (you know) a user that he is sign in and he is a member of the group, can see the feed and if he isn't a member of the group he cant, the same that i am in facebook.

Amit,
That's not possible. While we may be able to check if the user is a member of the group, there are additional privacy considerations for each Group member that we can't take control over. There are other issues that would be difficult to implement in JFBConnect in a universal way:
* Users can also join, and be removed from, groups at different times.
* To check a user's groups, you need to request a new permission from all users that register on your site through Facebook to be able to see the groups they've joined.. which users can deny or decide not to register altogether.
* What happens to users who don't register using Facebook? Again, this is where using the User Group system of Joomla would allow the proper people to still see the posts.

With Facebook Pages, none of the above is a problem as those are meant to be public. For Facebook Groups, while you can display them, it's up to you how best to do so on your site and it can definitely cause a little more admin work on your end, but there's not an easy solution to fix that in JFBConnect that would work for all group configurations.

Sorry to not be able to give you a quick fix that does what you're looking for, but I do hope the above explains the issues.

Thanks,
Alex
