Hi I am a newbie,

I have hired a developer to add JFBConnect and AlphaUswerPoints to my JomSocial. I am now looking for a list of things that I can assign points to.

I found these and I know there are a lot more

There seems to be a lot of info on development but not much for us site owners.

Please point me to the right place.

Thanks...

Sheryl,
Sorry for the delayed response. I'm not actually sure what you're asking. You mention:

Those are the current 'rules' we have for AUP that can generate points. You could create other rules and add some code to JFBConnect to trigger those, but that's what we support right now.

If you have any questions or specific features you're looking to add, or having trouble implementing those rules, just let me know, and we'll gladly help.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Thank you for your reply. The one thing I would like to give AUP points that is not on the list is for sharing. If I post a photo or anything can they can get points for sharing.

Sheryl,
Thanks for the feedback and suggestion. We're hoping to add more points integration features for AUP as well as adding support for awarding points in both JomSocial and EasySocial.

There isn't a simple line of code to update (for now) that would easily let you reward points for sharing, or we'd let you know it. We'll hopefully get more support in the next release, v5.3, due out in the beginning of next year.

I hope that helps explain. If you have a developer, we can gladly point to a few places where code should probably be implemented, but we can't implement it ourselves right now.

Thanks,
Alex
