Topic-icon Endlessly repeating activities in JomSocial stream

Every login generates an activity entry in the stream equivalent to the last one. I find myself, as well as my users find themselves, eliminating activities repeatedly from their phome or profile screen.

After exposing this problem to JomSocial Support and after they logged into my site to check this out they sadi I should contact you guys as it is JFBconnect doing this.

Can this be?

It could be, but I'm not sure why it would be doing so. The best way to test is to disable the "Import Social Network Status" setting in the Profiles -> JomSocial area of JFBConnect. Then, test to see if the same status is being repeated.

JFBConnect does a simple test to check that the status being set isn't the same as the current status for the user. It's possible with JomSocial 3.0, we've missed an update somewhere and aren't properly checking though.

Let me know if that helps, or not, and we'll figure out the best solution.
