in a topic here in the forum last year you wrote:

With the major releases expected later this year of both JFBConnect and JLinked, we're planning to overhaul our profile plugin system a bit. It's gotten a bit too complex recently and needs to be simplified. At that time, we'll be evaluating multiple different extensions for integration, and are planning to add a Hikashop profile plugin at that time. Until then though, profile information won't be able to be automatically populated into the user's Hikashop profile unless you're interested in digging into the code to make that happen.

We still don't have a HikaShop plugin. As mentioned in another post, as we add more social networks, like Google+ (now) and Twitter and LinkedIn over the next few releases, deeper integration with other extensions will be a critical area of focus. Our profile plugin system was revamped with the v5.1 release to support these new networks easily and they are meant to be easily created for 3rd party Joomla extensions as well.

We'd love to get a Hikashop (and multiple other) profile plugins out later this year, but I just can't give a timeline on when it would be available. We would love other developers to get involved in the process as well. Feel free to contact the Hikashop developers to let them know you'd like integration and that may help kickstart a collaboration since we'd need to understand their extension deeply in order to properly integrate with it.

Many Thanks for your availability and good informations.
I'll keep you informed about that integrations soon... (right now, thanks to a freelancer, I'm finishing an HikaShop / Akeeba Subscription plugin)

No problem for the info. We'll definitely help how we can, just let us know if you get started or any feedback from the HikaShop developers (or your freelancer). We do have a Profile Plugin developer guide, but it's actually a bit out of date with the latest release, so we'd need to update it before I'd recommend following it. We'd gladly prioritize updating it if you feel it would help get you going sooner.
