Please make sure you've followed each step of the Google Authentication for Joomla configuration guide. Specifically, step 10, where you set the proper callback URLs.

If that still doesn't work, let us know,
Alex

I will go back and delete it (again =) ) and recreate it... from what I could see, the only change was to insert my site name where it states <your site name> - is this correct? That is what I did, but it may be that something more is required?

Hi there, just to let you know I have finally got this working. I deleted the api and recreated it, but kept getting an error message on updating the oauth step. Finally I tried the new cloud "thingie" and re-entered the call back urls. It took a little while to populate, but it works now

Glad to hear you got it going. I'm not actually sure what you had to change from your description above, but the important thing is that it works.

Thanks, and good luck,
Alex

Oddly enough, I didn't actually change anything :=D I do think, though, that it was the Google platform that was an issue, given my inability to add the oauth information once I had recreated the app and the error messages. On using the new one the information worked first time.

Very strange indeed. We're still getting used to Google integration, and learning more about little quirks like this from our users. We really do appreciate the feedback as it will help us when others report similar issues.

As always though, if you run into anything else or have any questions, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
