Topic-icon Where should I see my action?

I created an open graph object for the jomsocial gallery type, and then an action from the uploading-a-picture action. I then, while logged-in to Facebook as my personal account, uploaded an image. Looking at the activity logs tab, I see this entry:

# User Action Object Status URL FB Error Message Created
1 camblerrhps image_upload photo COM_JFBCONNECT_OPENGRAPH_PUBLISHED /photos/cambler/album?albumid=100 2013-09-16 21:53:12

So it looks like the action fired. First (and just tangentially, looks like there's a language string missing). But more importantly, where should I see this action on Facebook? It's not in my timeline. I'm logged in to Facebook as an admin of my app, so I should expect it would show up, yes? And it would appear that Facebook got it, because the "submit" link for the story is now live, whereas it didn't used to be. But I'm unclear where, exactly, I should expect to see the post.

Help?

Click the "Activity Log" button in the bottom right of your Cover Photo on Facebook. It should show up there.

All actions go to the Activity Log. From there, Facebook determines how to promote them: Timeline, Friend Ticker, News Feeds, etc. Until it's approved by Facebook though, it won't go anywhere as it's not available for others to see. You can click the white circle next to the activity and set it to "Always Show On Timeline" to see what it would look like on your Timeline. The default (even when approved) is "Can show on Timeline".

With the new JFBCAction popups (where a user is choosing to post an action and can tag their friends, a place and add a message), you can configure them as "Explicitly Shared". In this case, it would always show on the user's Timeline.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex

Gotcha. I see them there - that was sufficient to screen cap it to submit the action to Facebook for approval.

Do note the language string, though ;)

Thanks!

The language string has been noted in our tracker and should be fixed in v5.1.2 (later this week, hopefully). Now to check the other post you just made about an action not accepted... :)
