After upgrading from 5.0.2 to 5.1.1 some users, but not all, receive the follwing error when thay try to login:

500 - View not found [name, type, prefix]: : jfbconnect, html, jfbconnectView

ERROR URL: n-pix.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconnec...w==&cb=1378479314798

I couldn't see a pattern of users that get this error, but seems that recent users (about 1-2 months) and new users are affected. Somo old users are not.

I've already set Leave as non-SEF on sh404sef for jfbconnect, com_users and com_login.
Even disabling sh404sef and RSFirewall doen't work.

Thanks!

Gui,
The issue is that the our Javascript file on your site has been cached in their browsers. We attempt to do some 'cache busting' to prevent that issue, but depending on how your server is configured, it may not work.

If you're using the System - Cache plugin or any other 'optimization' add-ons for Joomla or Content Delivery Networks, like Amazon CloudFront or CloudFlare, please purge the cache for /components/com_jfbconnect/includes/jfbconnect.js

The problem should generally clear itself up within 24 hours otherwise.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex

You ware right. Amazon Cloudfront CDN was delivering the outdated JS files and causing this issue.

Thanks Alex!

Awesome! I like solutions that we nail on the first try :) Glad that got you going. As always though, if you run into anything else, just let me know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
