Site: www bayleafmarket com / dev /

This morning the jfbfan module is not displaying. It was working fine yesterday.

Firebug can see the code where it should be displaying (screenshot).

Not sure how to trouble shoot this?

Thanks,

-j

It's working for me. I see 2 Fan modules in the sidebar. The one in the right has "afasdf asdf asdf adsf adsf adf adf" written at the top.

Are you sure you aren't using privacy tools in your browser to hide social networking functionality (Ghostery, etc)? That's a common problem that is reported, but that's the purpose of that type of browser extension.

If you aren't sure, try from a different browser and/or a different computer which likely won't have the same tools installed/configured.

Thanks,
Alex

This is just bizarre. . .

On my PC it works with ie-10, incognito-chrome, private-browse firefox.

It does not display on regular chrome or firefox.

Not sure what the real cause was but I cleared browser cache for firefox and chrome and it's working now:

chrome://settings/clearBrowserData

firefox web developer - clear cache.

Very strange. Not sure what could have caused that, but glad to hear you found the problem. All I can guess is that a strange cookie was set somewhere that was telling Facebook not to load it's social widgets. That could have been a privacy setting or even a locale setting (Somehow, Facebook though you were in Antartica and shouldn't see American content, etc).

As always, should you run into anything else or need more help, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
