Hi there,

Have just performed a clean install on one site (Joomla 3.0) and an upgrade on another (Joomla 2.5) with the same error appearing on each.

Blocked a frame with origin "www.facebook.com" from accessing a frame with origin "sudburystudios.co.uk". The frame requesting access has a protocol of "https", the frame being accessed has a protocol of "http". Protocols must match. eNJGemJDFDG.js:90

The modules being loaded are SCLogin and JFBCFan. Unfortunately, both modules have stopped appearing... :(

Any ideas / info would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards, Josh

Josh,
On your home page, I'm seeing the Fan module in the right sidebar. I couldn't find where the SCLogin module was supposed to be loading at all. Is it on your home page as well?

The Blocked frame message is a standard Javascript warning message that you'll get with many browsers (but mainly Chrome). All social network integration loads frames of content from other sites (the social network itself). That warning is simply notifying you that the page is trying to load external content. Under normal browser configurations, that's all there is to it, a warning. If strict security is setup in the browser, it may affect the module behavior, but that's uncommon.

I hope that explains, but if not, let me know. Also, definitely let me know what pages I can see the problem on, if they still exist, as well as the browser and OS you're testing with in case that's a factor.

Thanks,
Alex

As if by magic it fixed it self :)

It definitely wasn't loading the module when I posted.... :/

Many thanks for checking it out Alex, much appreciated :)

No problems. Gremlins get everyone sometimes. If you run into issues again, just let us know. It could have been a glitch with Facebook's Javascript, which does happen periodically, but usually fixed quickly.

As always, should you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
