Hi,
I'm unable to update to 5.0.1 from 5.0.0. My subscription is still active. I can see few plugins like JFBConnect, Authentication plugin, User plugin, system plugin, content plugin etc has updates. How should I update them?

The main component can only be updated by downloading the newest release from this site and installing using the Joomla Installer. We're working on an automatic updater for the admin area, to hopefully be included in the October release of JFBConnect.

Hi Alex,
Thanks for the reply. If i do the manual install, will my existing settings and configurations remain intact? How do i update the other plugins? Also the same way or can i update via the joomla update?

All your settings will be kept. You don't need to uninstall first, just so you know, but it won't hurt anything in case you do.

I'd recommend installing the latest component through the Joomla installer and then either re-install any plugins or modules you're using through the installer or the update manager.

We're very excited that the v5.1 release will have a unified installer and be much easier to manage.
