can not login was created by scomac
If i click the LOGIN WITH FACEBOOK button, a popup window states that I am being logged in but in actuality a am not logged in. The page does not go to the redirect page, nor do i see the menu items for registered users.
The same problem happens with joomla login. i tried redirect plug-ins and updating to joomla 3.1.1 but nothing solves inability to login. Any ideas?
The error logs are filled with:
jfbconnectauthfailure Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.
But username and passwords match and it is for accounts that I just created.

I'm not sure what would be causing that. It could be quite a few configuration issues or the version of JFBConnect you're using. Can you tell me what version of JFBConnect you have installed? Also, can you tell me if you're using any 3rd party profile integration for things like Community Builder, JomSocial, Kunena, etc?

Also, please post from the account you subscribed to JFBConnect from. Priority support is for active subscribers only.

Other components that affect com_user are acymailing, DT Register, Mijoshop (not enabled in front end). Mijoshop in backend shows who is logged in. So users are somewhat logged in but that status is not reflected in the front end. There is no welcome greeting when I register or login. Sometimes the FB logout button does appear.
I am also running the TCVN auto login for users that just registered and Core Login Redirect which is enabled but does not redirect.
I am not running joomsocial, CB, Keauna, k2.

The error message "jfbconnectauthfailure Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet." isn't related. That error comes up whenever any user plugin can't authenticate the user, but the beginning part (jfbconnectauthfailure) just means you have the JFBConnect authentication plugin ordered last. If you ordered it first, the error would appear with a different authentication plugin. It's not helpful and pretty annoying.

I just registered on your site through Facebook and then logged out and in multiple times with both my Joomla and Facebook credentials. Each time I was logged in as expected. I'm not sure what's happening on your site. If you can't log in using your Joomla credentials, that means it's something outside of JFBConnect that's causing the problem. We don't alter the normal Joomla login process, so that wouldn't be an issue caused by our extension.

I'd keep testing and disable any caching you have enabled or any of those plugins you mention above and keep testing. If you can narrow down which plugin or extension is preventing the login process, we may be able to help you from there.
