At myiine.com -> when you click on the Send or Like button, the popup interacts strangely with the Comment module below. I know it must have something to do with the z-index... Can you let me know how I can fix this? Thanks!

Kaz,
Sometimes it can take a few hours to get a response to a support question. Please be patient. We get back to all posts as quickly as we have time to do the appropriate investigation and come up with an answers.

As to your question, it seems like the z-index is wrong with our content plugin and a separate comment box. If you add the following line to your template's CSS file, it should fix the issue:
.scsocialbuttons {z-index: 99 !important;}
I've added it to our tracker to ensure that we're doing the proper z-indexing as well for the next release.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Thank you!
This did the trick on the home page, but apparently not on the other pages.

To list a few:
myiine.com/products-services/iphone-custom-cases-bumpers
myiine.com/products-services/iphone-cust...custom-cases-bumpers
myiine.com/products-services/iphone-cust...custom-cases-bumpers

Can you let me know what I need to do to fix overlap on the other pages?

Thanks,

Kaz

Kaz,
Those social buttons aren't coming from JFBConnect. They're coming from a different extension. Can you disable those and use our content plugin to display the same buttons there? On that page, the Facebook Javascript library is also being included twice, which will slow your site down and can cause other conflicts. I'd recommend replacing your Fan Page Box on the right sidebar with our JFBCFan module.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Hi Alex,

1. I just turned off the social buttons that are part of my template/framework, but now it is not showing any social buttons anymore (except on Home), even though JFBC's content plugin etc. has been turned on all the time. What do I need to do?

2. I have gotten rid of the Facebook Javascript library that was hardcoded into the template.php's body. Can you verify that it is the way it supposed to be now?

3. I have replaced the Fan Page Box as you suggested. I think this is working fine.

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Kaz

Are those interior pages "Content" pages from Joomla, or something else? If so, please make sure that:
* The JFBC Content plugin is enabled
* In the Social configuration area of JFBConnect, the Like buttons are set to show at the "Bottom" of Article views and that there are no category restrictions.

If it's another content type (EasyBlog, K2, etc), let us know.

Everything else on the page looks perfect now.. only one Javascript library, the Fan box looks right, etc.

Hope that helps get you going,
Alex
