If there any way to add to the amount of user info that is requested when a user is created?

For example, I would like the:

- age range
- gender
- birthdate
- location

This would be in addition to already requested when the user is added to my site. I can see that the info is available here: developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/api/user/ but I'm not sure how to get it, and add it to the user.

JFBConnect doesn't store any user profile data on it's own. However, we do have Social Profile plugins that are a part of JFBConnect which can be used to import profile data into other profile management extensions like JomSocial, Community Builder, Kunena, K2, Virtuemart and more.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for your reply, I'm currently using K2 along with the K2 extended users profile plugin for K2. Sorry about that I forgot to make that clear the first time.

How do I get the info that I mentioned above from the users FB profile over to the K2 users section?

Thanks again for your assistance and GREAT job on the Sourcecoast redesign, looks wonderful! I just did a 1.5 - 2.5 upgrade on my site and have a mutual respect for the upgrading process :-)

Unfortunately, we don't currently support the K2 Extended Profiles plugin and can only import into the standard K2 profile fields. Support for the Extended Profiles plugin is on our to-do list, but I don't have a Timeline on when that would be implemented, though it should be over the next few releases.

Hi Alex,

I know that you said that you planned on doing this in the future and I'm seriously thankful for that!

Is there any way that you can expedite this? I can pay you for it or please point me in a direction of a developer that can do it for me, my client is in desperate need of this functionality.

Very sorry for the delay in getting back to this. Our plugin developer has had some time off recently due to a new addition in his family. We're starting to gear him up again. We have other priorities over the K2 Extended Fields plugin, but if it's still necessary from you, we can discuss ways to get this expedited going forward. There would be some costs, but you won't bear the full burden since it is something we can promote.
