Hello,

I found that the open graph of my website is not correct.
I added the object "PC Game" in Facebook App: screencast.com/t/U73gg8grB4p
Then I added an Object in JFBconnect: screencast.com/t/eYjyvGkQY0FI
However, when I liked the listing, the Feed say: screencast.com/t/zvU9fELFKt
It say that I liked a tablet listing...
Could you please help me on this?

Thanks,
Giang Anh

The parameters in you JFBConnect Object configuration aren't correct. The "type" should be the exact type from Facebook's "Get Code" link, and should look something like "pc_game". There won't be any spaces in it.

Can you post a link to the URL you're testing with so we can see the actual og:type tag? That may help as well.

Thanks,
Alex

Here is the link I used to test.

The Open Graph tag specified on that page looks like:
<meta property="og:type" content="danhgia:memory"/>
Do you know why it would be set to 'memory'? Is that another object type you've created? Should that be associated with different listings and not that one?

Anything you can let us know would help. That type doesn't seem to match up with PC Game or Tablet, so I'm a little confused as to where it's coming from.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello,

Yes, memory is another object I created for the Memory listing. I don't know why it shows like that.

Can you disable the 'memory' object and re-run that page through the Facebook URL Debug Tool and test again? See if the correct og:type is being set from the other object you have setup then and let us know. It's much easier to test/debug one object at a time.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello,

Here is the result.
Note:
- I correct the type to "pc_game" already.
- I also change the Description Length to 40. I don't know why it's still too short.
- video.tv_show is another object I use for another listing

Thanks,
Giang Anh

Giang,
I can't really tell from above.. are you still having issues? If so, what's wrong with the object settings now?

Thanks,
Alex

Hello,

The link danhgia.net/game-pc-console/100-bioshock-infinite
When I tested with Facebook URL Debug Tool it showed: screencast.com/t/Y8mmhvWA
video.tv_show is another object I use for another listing. It means that the object is still incorrect.

Thanks,
Giang Anh

What if you disable the video.tv_show object? Does it work then? Again, it's easiest to debug these things with just one object at a time. So, let's get the object for that page working, and then try to enable other objects to see where something goes wrong and why.

Let me know if disabling the video.tv_show object (and other objects) helps. Then, we can help you start re-enabling other objects so they don't interfere with these pages.

Thanks,
Alex
