Hi,
First of all I hope you and yours have been and continue to be safe from this virus. The support team for Membership Pro said the problem I'm having is because of the SCLogin module. Here is the communication which also describes the problem:
QUOTE
After logging in a user is getting a 404 page. They are successfully logged in however, but why the 404 page? I noticed that MP was not updated so I just renewed and updated but the problem remains. See here:

Here's what happened after leaving the site with no activity for awhile:

Hi Peter,
I think the issue has cause from the Login module "Member Login - Click register button if not yet a member", you need to open the module at Backend of your Joomla site and open tab: Login View Settings, here you can change option in field: "Joomla Login Redirection URL", i think you can select different menu item to redirect user after logging. It will be better than using option: "Same page" as current
Thanks
Dam

Hey man. Thanks so much for responding so quickly. I tried your suggestion and chose the "My Profile" page instead of same page, but still gives a 404. See:
d.pr/v/xXwamN

Any other ideas? Appreciate the help.

Peter

Hi Peter,
I tried to login with your provided account "Membership", but i don't see any problem as you. But i am not able to access to My Profile page because this error: You haven't subscribed for any subscriptiption plan yet, so you could not access this page
Thanks
Dam

Hi Dam,
you are correct. Superusers seem to be directed to the home page and the error message reflects they are not enrolled in subscription plan.

The pages and error messages seem to depend on if they are enrolled and whether or not their plan is active or not.

Please try logging in with:
Ozzy
oZZy50!50
This is an active subscription plan and leads to the 404 error page.

and then with:
Smalbiz
50!50tesT

This last is an expired subscription plan member and it goes to the home page. Why? And where can I control that?

Hi Peter,
I have spent time to check the issue, and i think it isn't related to Membership Pro, the issue has cause from your current login module (mod_sclogin). I tried to select option: "Home" in parameter: "Joomla Login Redirection URL" of module, but after logging, i still see error 404 Not found.
In this case, you can contact with developer team of the Login module to ask them to check the issue for you.
Thanks
Dam

For the 'invalid token' message after authenticating, please go to the Module Manager and edit the SCLogin module. Under Advanced, there is a 'Caching' option. Set that to 'None' and hopefully that issue will be fixed.

The 404 issue is strange, but I'm unsure how it's related to JFBConnect. In the Global Configuration area of Joomla there is a "Session Duration" setting. The default is 15, which means that a user will be logged out after 15 minutes of no activity. Normally, that doesn't show up to the user until they navigate somewhere else. It seems like you may have another plugin which auto-logs out the user and, in that case, is redirecting them to the wrong page. I can't see the full URL in your browser though, so unsure where it sent them.

My recommendations here are:
* Increase the Session Timeout setting
* Determine what plugin or extension is auto-logging the user out and redirecting them to a page. Either disable that or configure it to properly redirect to a valid page.

I hope that helps, but if you need anything else, please let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
Thanks for responding. The caching was already set to “no caching”

Can you test with the standard Joomla login module instead of the SCLogin module to determine if you still have the 404 error when logging in? That will help narrow down where the issue is after authentication. If it still persists with the Joomla login module, that means the problem is not with the SCLogin module but some other extension improperly redirecting the users.

Thanks,
Alex
