Hi guys,

1 - JFBConnect > Configuration > General > Advanced > Force Scheme:
This setting has been useful few years ago during the transition between http and https.
Now, on a new site project it doesn't affect, Am I right ? Anyway I can set it to https...

2- During the autotune configuration you suggest to add
Canvas > Canvas URL: http://...
Page Tab > Page Tab URL: http://...
But I' running and redirectering all through https://...
Please, Do I have to leave http:// as suggested or have I / Can input the https://... URL ?

1) If your site always automatically redirects to https, then yes, the 'Force Scheme' option won't do you much good (or could hurt you if you set it to force http instead of https).
2) The recommendations on the back-end can be overridden. The only reason I think we'd be recommending http there is if you are accessing the administrator area over http. When you are in the administrator area over https, the recommendations should use https instead. You may also want to hit the 'Refresh' button in the top left to get newer recommendations in case those recommendations were loaded a while ago (or when you were in the administrator area over http).

Thanks,
Alex

1 - Okay
2 - The site is new. I'm running the Backend Administrator panel only from https://
Anyway I tested the "Refresh" button and nothing happen, the AutoTune always suggest http instead https...

I apologize, I read this post too fast. For the Page URLs above, there are 2 settings:
Canvas URL
Secure Canvas URL

Those must use http for the first one and https for the second. Even if a user will be redirected from http to https, the "Canvas URL" must use http. Frankly, I'm pretty sure Facebook doesn't even use the normal, non-https setting anywhere anymore, but it's still a value that can be set and is recommended to be set... so we do.

As long as the "Secure Canvas URL" is correct, uses https and works, you will be fine.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
thank you very much for your explication. Please, the same thing is valid also for the Page Tab settings:
- Page Tab URL
- Secure Page Tab URL
Am I right ?
