Ahh.. I think I see the confusion. The "Facebook App Settings" is wrong. The setting to enable Messenger is in your Facebook *Page*, not the Application that needs to be setup for authentication and such.
Proper steps (to be updated in that post shortly):
* Go to your Facebook *Page*
* Click the Settings button in the top right
* In the long list of settings on the left, click General (it's the default)
* In the long list of settings that shows, finded the "Messenger" one towards the top.
* Click Edit, check the box to allow people to contact you and save.
No such direct URL, but it should look like:
www.facebook.com/SourceCoast/settings/?t...ection=messages&view
Where SourceCoast is our Page name.. replace with yours.
Finally, if you don't see a widget on our site, it's likely because you have a adblock/tracking blocker extension that's preventing Facebook from loading. Ain't nothing we can do about that!
It definitely works though.. we've been getting test messages all morning, which is good.. I think..
Thanks,
Alex
