Dear support,
I noticed, that for some of automatic posts for my page https:// rtvwpromocji pl, are posted badly - without graphic and with the strange link.
Please see it here: www.facebook.com/pg/ rtvwpromocji/posts/
on the other hand, socialdebig says that: There was an error processing this URL:
socialdebug.com/results?url=https%3A%2F%...darmowych-rat-201809

How to check what is causing those problems?
Best,
Kalixo

I just took a look at your Facebook Page and all the posts there seem correct. They have images and I'm unsure what the 'strange link' is you mentioned. The last post is from August 11th though. Have you removed the bad posts?

I'm unsure what's wrong with socialdebug.com at the moment, but I'd recommend running your page through the Facebook Open Graph Debug tool . When I do that, the preview looks correct to me there as well.

Please let us know any other details of what's wrong or what you're expecting so that we can help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello Alex,
in fact there's something strange happing with the posts.

when you take a look at:
https:// rtvwpromocji.pl/media-expert-promocja-na-soundbar-lg-201809
in the debugger:
developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/shar...a-soundbar-lg-201809
there's no image. On our facebook page there is no image either - it was published on fb wall on the 25th september at 10:00.

The wierd thing is that with the other post, that has no image and was posted on the fb wall on the 25th september at 12:01, but in the debugger it looks perfect:
developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/shar...darmowych-rat-201809

Hmm. Maybe there's a probkem with caching?
Best,
Kalixo

Facebook does need to fetch your page before it can show the image in a post. If you just created an article on your site and immediately post it, Facebook won't have fetched it automatically yet. Once it's posted, it will be in Facebook's queue to fetch and update. Usually, that's a fast process, but sometimes, the picture won't show up for hours or even days. We have no control over how long that takes.

With that said, if you use the Facebook URL Debug Tool that you're using above to fetch the page, that will immediately update the cache.

I hope that helps explain, but should you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
