That error message is normal. You're requesting permissions from user's logging into your site but Facebook hasn't approved your site to get those permissions from all users. Until Facebook approves them, you can only get those permissions from the admins for your Facebook application.

We're planning to release an updated JFBConnect version over the next few days that will describe the permissions that JFBConnect is requesting, why they are being requested, and how to go through the app review process.

I hope that helps get you going, but for now, things look right and I'd continue testing to make sure authentication and profile import works as you want for your admin user.

Thanks,
Alex

When you register a Facebook application, you have Facebook's approval to use that application for basic authentication on your site. With that, users can authenticate and JFBConnect can fetch their email address, first name, last name and a few other basic details about the user.

The message in your original post was:

Warning
Invalid Scopes: user_status, publish_actions. This message is only shown to developers. Users of your app will ignore these permissions if present. Please read the documentation for valid permissions at: developers.facebook.com/docs/fa … ermissions

That means JFBConnect is setup to ask for additional permissions based on your settings.

user_status is used to fetch the user's latest posts to Facebook
publish_actions is removed and you shouldn't be seeing this as a request if you're using JFBConnect v8.0.0

To let your app request those permissions from all users, you'll need to go through a review process for Facebook to give your site the additional permissions. If you don't go through the review process, the basic authentication will still work without any issue.

I hope that helps explains,
Alex
