We're working on an updated release of JFBConnect that will list out all the permissions that are being used (based on your configuration settings) and what steps need to be taken to go through the approval process. We're expecting it to be out in the first half of July.
In general though, to go through the approval process, you:
* Select the permissions your app uses. Generally, you can determine this from the profile fields you've setup. You can also look at the HTML on your site for the following piece of code:
jfbc.login.scope = 'email,user_birthday,.....
Those scopes match up with the ones in the Facebook review list that you need to request permissions for. You do not need to go through the review process for 'email' though.
* Once you select your fields, fill out the rest of the information as to why you are requesting it (to prepopulate a user's profile on your site to make onboarding easier) and include pictures or a video of the registration process and the user's profile view.
The pictures and video do not have to be high quality. A handheld cell phone aimed at your monitor is fine while you navigate works.
I hope that helps give some background, but if you need anything else before the upcoming release, don't hesitate to ask.
Thanks,
Alex
