Each of the social networks are currently changing how they allow tracking of different events. We've been updating JFBConnect recently to incorporate these changes, but there are still a few we need to tackle. Unfortunately, not everything is still possible.

Facebook Like / Share - This is no longer possible. We will be removing the language and options to track FB Likes and Shares in the next release:
* Back in November, they announced the removal of the Like tracking ability: developers.facebook.com/blog/post/2017/1...developer-offerings/

edge.create and edge.remove JS SDK Events: These Events will no longer be accessible. As an alternative, you can use our Webhooks and be notified every time someone likes one of your Facebook Pages.

* In May, one of the Facebook updates was to remove the 'publish_actions' permission, which was required to track when a user hit the Share button. Since that permission is no longer available, the ability to track Share's is gone as well.

LinkedIn - The way we tracked shares in LinkedIn was always a bit kludgy. Right now, it broke due to changes they made back in April. However, it does look like they've actually added a valid, good way for tracking when the user hits the share button. Just to be clear though, the user will have to have authenticated with LinkedIn on your site before tracking of the share will work.

Google Share - We're investigating this further. The Google+1 button is what we've supported tracking of in the past, but that button has diminished in functionality and use. We added the Google Share button to v8 to bring JFBConnect more up to date, but we did not add tracking support (and are unsure if it's even possible). Can you let us know what type of Google Share button you're trying to track and we'll gladly investigate more.

Finally, to send us confidential information, please use our Private Message feature by clicking the mail icon under my name to the left. If you're going to send us credentials though, please let us know what they are for. I don't think there's anything we could do on your site, at this point, to make the features you're asking about above start working though.

Thanks,
Alex
