Topic-icon Facebook comments and likes not appearing on my article pages

Not sure when or why this started happening. Here is a link below to an article with many "likes" and probably 30+ comments. The "likes" are now appearing at the bottom of the article because I have enabled them in jReviews. Is it possible that jReviews is somehow blocking or keeping JFBConnect from working? I believe I was able to have both on in the past.

So quick update on this ... I have my site up and running on a localhost and everything is working fine! I have checked every single plugin to make sure the order matches and the ones enabled matched. I have also compared all the settings for JFBConnect and they match. It is weird that when I look at the page source in the live site I don't see the comments section loading but I do see it in the dev site.

Any ideas on how I can further trouble shoot this?

One more update ... since I wasn't sure if this was cased by the upgrade to the new version of jReviews I opened a ticket with them. They jumped right in and checked their component and plugins and didn't see any issues. In fact Alejandro said he is also doesn't understand why the comments aren't appearing except that it doesn't appear that the comments plugin is even working since it isn't showing up in the source.

Do you think it would help if I did a complete uninstall and then re-install of the component?

Uninstalling and re-installing likely won't do anything, but it shouldn't really hurt either if you want to try. Just to make sure I understand the issue.. Like's are showing, but the comment box is not?

The post you mentioned is an EasyBlog post. Are you enabling EasyBlog's Facebook comments integration or are you trying to use JFBConnect's? There's definitely a lot of extensions interacting on that page, but we'll gladly help investigate and figure things out however we can.

Thanks Alzander.... The blog I provided the link to is a jReviews article and isn't using EasyBlog. And sorry I wasn't clear on the issue... neither "likes" nor "comments" are showing. The "likes" that I have enabled in jReviews ARE showing but not anything from JFBConnect. If I remove all the "like" button options in jReviews then there aren't any that appear in any articles...

Hope that helps and thanks for getting back to me. If you need admin access let me know. The admin URL is whitelisted so you will not be able to log in without me assigning your IP address to the firewall.

Can you send FTP credentials now? From the settings, I can't see anything wrong.

Can you also tell me how to completely disable JReviews? Is disabling all plugins with "jreviews" in it enough, or is there some other setting I should use? I'd like to see a 'clean' Joomla content article so I can narrow down when the comment box isn't shown.
