Auto posting to FB images not showing

That page is working for me. I'm attaching images below of the share dialog showing it and of the actual post that is made:

Auto-posting uses the same Open Graph tags and should look identical to the above. If not, let me know. My best guess is that Facebook hadn't updated the cache for your page when you first checked. If you create a post and then immediately share it to Facebook, then Facebook may not have scanned and processed the page fully before putting it into your feed. Usually, even if the picture doesn't immediately show, it will automatically update in your feed once the page has been processed. That shouldn't take too long (usually on the order of tens of minutes), but we've seen it take hours before.

Auto-posting is great, but one thing you may want to do is:
* Create the article
* Scan with the Facebook URL debugger to make sure it has the right information before you post
* Post

Also, to note, the more you post to Facebook, the quicker Facebook *seems* to scan new content on your page. Over time, your content should start showing up quicker.

Sorry for the delayed response. I missed that you added your post to this thread.

In looking at the current Facebook Debugger results, I see 2 issues:
* The debugger reports "The provided 'og:type' of 'kirchesposting:' is not valid". I'm not sure where that type is being set, but if you created an Open Graph Object for your content, please disable it or change the type to 'article' and check the "FB Built-in Object" setting.
* It looks like K2 is also inserting Open Graph tags. JFBConnect is setting an og:image tag to: media/k2/items/cache/fac9770ae986695c80dfb6c58f312f32_XL.jpg . Another og:image tag is being set as media/k2/items/cache/fac9770ae986695c80dfb6c58f312f32_M.jpg

That _M in the other tag means 'medium size', which is lower quality. Facebook wants the largest image you can provide, which is what JFBConnect is trying to set. I'd recommend disabling Open Graph integration in K2.

After you've done those things, re-scrape the page and see if that improves things.

I don't know of any limitation for jpg versus png on Facebook. But I did want to clarify 1) whether you're still having the problem and 2) that you re-scraped the page after changing the image to make sure the image preview was updated.
