Hello. I'm trying to use JFBCSocialShare module to allow my readers to share an article via Twitter. I would like the first image in article to be the image on twitter cards. How can I configure it?

In order for that first image to be set in the Twitter Card for the article, the twitter:image tag needs to be set correctly on that page. The easiest way for you to do this is 1) enable the 'Open Graph - Content' plugin. JFBConnect will then automatically pick the first image of the article for the Open Graph / Twitter tags. If you want further control of where to pull the image or description from, I would suggest you create an object in the JFBConnect backend > Social Meta > Objects area for your articles.

Also, please make sure in JFBConnect backend > Social Meta > Configuration that you have the Twitter Cards setting enabled.

Once the tags are shared correctly, then anything shared to Twitter should show the correct image/description preview. However, if this is unclear or you're having problems setting it up after following the above steps, let us know.

Thank you for your reply.
1) Open Graph - Content plugin is enabled
2) Twitter cards settings are enabled in Social Meta configuration
But is still does not work

Could you give me a specific URL? I'd like to look at the tags on the page. If those look correct, then I'd run it through the Twitter Card validator.

The twitter:description tag on your page is using the text from the meta description of the page, not the article text. Could you try creating the object in the backend and see if the description is updated properly?

The problem with images has been already solved, although I have not changed anything in JFBConnect configuration since yesteday.
However, I found some more problems. No matter what I set in Social Meta configuration I do not see any result on Twitter cards. I've created and published an article object, but I still see global description of my website in twitter cards, not the preview of the article. I also tried to change twitter card type to 'Summary card with large image', but it does not work. Please help.

1. Can you try creating the object? This would help to address the description as well.

2. Enable the Social Toolbar setting in the JFBConnect > Configuration > General area. Then log in as an admin on the front-end and click the Social Meta button. Let me know what any row values for twitter:description or og:description that show up in that list.

3. If those don't help, you can send me a PM with superadmin credentials. I might need to poke around in your backend to check out your settings/plugins.
