JFBConnect on Joomla 3.8.1 causing certificate error was created by thepimster

Hi,

Just upgraded my site to Joomla.3.8.1, but now my homepage (only page where I show latest social media posts) loads with the error: PROBLEM WITH THE SSL CA CERT (PATH? ACCESS RIGHTS?). Other pages work as usual.

When I disable the module, the page loads fine.

Any ideas?

Please update to JFBConnect v7.2.2 to fix that error message, which has a fix for that issue and other compatibility updates with Joomla 3.8.

Alternatively, you set the "Disable SSL Validation" setting in JFBConnect to 'yes', but that will lower the security of your site and users by bypassing some security checks when communicating with the social networks.
