Could you try reinstalling the JFBConnect installation again one more time? It looked like something might have gone wrong with the update. Are there any error messages when you try to visit the component in the backend? Could you make sure the JFBCSystem (and user and authentication plugins are still enabled on the site?)

Hello,
when we installed the update from Joomla Update we have got page to run Autotune, but getting error 500
than all site was on error 500 (also frontend) and the user and authentication plugins was disable.

To recover we tried to disable all JFBConnect on db directly, than clear the administrator cache and modify name of directory in
/public_html/administrator/components/com_jfbconnect
to
/public_html/administrator/components/_com_jfbconnect

so the site come back again.

Later we renamed the component directory (from _com_jfbconnect to com_jfbconnect) and try to able the component in the db with all other plugin disable.
The administrator menu of JFBConnect was return, but clicking on any of them got the 500 error (all the other admin was ok).
So we tried to update again but got the 500 error (but this time on popup).
We tried also with JFBConnect 7.2.1 (you sent) but still some error 500 with popup.
We tried again with JFBConnect 7.2.2, still error 500 with popup

Now we have not social login in our site...

We can provide you the access.
Thank you,
stefano

I'm assuming you're running Joomla 3.8 (or 3.8.1). There's many reports of this happening with *any* Joomla extension and there aren't fixes we can implement on our end to get around this. It seems like a Joomla corruption issue either with the database or filesystem after the Joomla 3.8 upgrade. For more details, see:
github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/18025
github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/18020
github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/18047
github.com/joomla/joomla-cms/issues/18098

There are a lot of details in each of those threads about some possible work arounds to find the issue. I'd highly suggest restoring your site from a backup from before you upgraded JFBConnect though and then simply re-installing again. Most of the threads above say that will fix the issue as the chance of an upgrade issue is slim each time you do it.

If you don't have a backup, you can send us a Private Message with admin credentials for your site, but there's only so much we'd be able to do. Admin creds don't allow us to edit the filesystem or make changes to the database. If there is something we can do for JFBConnect, we'll gladly try, but if it's a case of Joomla itself having a corruption problems, there's little we'd be able to do in that case.

Thanks,
Alex

in any case we have backup of file (no problem) but we would like avoid to restore all the site, can upi suggest in case which file or directory need to restore?
About DB restoring is worst, because we have customer with o-commerce order, so with backup we LOST orders...
Can you suggest in case which db table we have to recover?
Or can send credential (also ftp and db access) and you can tray to help us...

I was just writing a not-so-great response to your previous email. I didn't have a lot of good options for you without digging into the site.

I'm glad to hear it sounds like you got things going though. That's the best news.

If you do get any more 500 errors, please set the "Debug System" setting in the Joomla Configuration area to Yes. Then, those 500 error messages should have a lot of details as to what the error actually is. If you need further help, send those details so it will help us narrow things down.

All the best,
Alex
