Hi

With Joomla 3.7.x + JFBConnect and SEBLOD everything is ok but one major issue :

the automatically created account by JFBConnect doesn't have any entry in the #__cck_store_form_user table. Hence when you click on the Joomla edit profile menu item the account is not recognized as a seblod user.

but if you go to the backoffice user manager, load and save the same user, then the entry is created and you now access the seblod user form in the frontend.

So will it be possible to add a feature to JFBconnect so that any automatic account creation updates the #__cck_store_form_user table when SEBLOD is installed please ?

thanks

Cyril

Cryil,
What you're looking for is generally done automatically by a user plugin for the extension that you want. The user plugin detects a new registration and adds whatever data is necessary to their own tables.

You can try to re-order the Seblod user plugin (assuming there is one) to after the JFBConnect - User plugin to see if that helps. Beyond that, I don't have a good answer, but I'd recommend checking with Seblod on how they handle registrations from 3rd party extensions. JFBConnect uses the standard Joomla registration process and calls the same triggers for creating a new user that Joomla does, which is what all extensions are supposed to use.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Cyril,
That's an interesting topic that I hadn't seen before. I really don't understand the inner workings of Seblod, so I don't know what it needs to create a user. As noted though, we call the standard user creation triggers that most other extensions use to create user entries in their database. I'm unsure why Seblod doesn't use those triggers, but hopefully a solution in that thread helps get you going for now.

Thanks,
Alex
