I have never successfully been able to see the "manage pages permission" area on this application when trying to set up the Facebook Channel. What does it look like?

When I try to login with Twitter, I see a very clear authorize app page. Twitter works fine.

I have started from scratch five different times in setting up my Facebook application and then setting up the channel in my Joomla backend. Each time I go to the front end of the website and login with my Facebook account, and I never see anything that asks for my permission. Subsequently, the next day, I login to do some editing, hoping that my edits will post to Facebook, and I get this error.

Fail - Error validating access token: Session has expired on Monday, 08-May-17 14:00:00 PDT. The current time is Wednesday, 17-May-17 13:59:23 PDT.

The when I go to the channel. I see the Manage Pages permission error and no feed loads. So I start over.

Is there a URL that will take me to the Facebook permissions page?

I use Gantry 5 for my templates. I'm running Joomla 3.7.2 on PHP 7. JFB is version 7.2.0

Thanks in advance for any ideas or assistance.

I sent you a PM with a code change for the expiring token. Other users have had issues with tokens expiring quickly and have tested this fix successfully for that problem (it will be included in the next release).

The channel owner should be an administrator or developer of your Facebook application. If not, there will not be a prompt for manage_pages. If you don't add the channel owner as an admin/developer, you will need to submit the application through the review process before your application will be able to properly request that permission from any user.

Here's screenshots of the prompts for your reference with the basic steps:
1. Create the channel.
2. Log in on the front-end with the FB user (that is an admin or developer) and approve the app.

3. Set the channel owner in the backend - manage_pages warning comes up in the channel edit.
4. Log out and in again with FB on the front-end. You should have one or more prompts for additional permissions such as posting and managing pages.
