We haven't seen this as an issue for any of our users before. For a quick sanity check could you please disable the 'System - JFBCSystem' plugin to see whether this error still occurs?

If you disable everything for JFBConnect, then JFBConnect can't be causing the problem. We work within Joomla's system and if all our plugins aren't enabled, then none of our code can be executed.

Can you tell me when you're getting this error? Is it only in the RocketTheme template configuration area, or is it other places in the admin area? If you switch back to a standard Joomla admin template, do you still have that problem?

Any details you can provide on what you see and when would help, but I'm not sure how JFBConnect can be related if our extension isn't enabled.

You can always go even further to uninstall JFBConnect to be sure.

Thanks,
Alex

I understand how you could make that connection. It's something we've simply never heard of before though. If you test with another non-Rockettheme template, or make any progress in narrowing down the cause, please let us know.

Again though, if everything in JFBConnect is disabled, I don't see how JFBConnect could be the culprit. We'd really like to hear the resolution though whenever you figure things out.

Thanks,
Alex

Solved

The guys from liquidweb got a fix:

USER wrote: I set the upload_tmp_dir = /tmp in the php configuration, it looks like that plugin did install, can you test it out on your end?

Tested and everything is working fine, seems a miscong on php temp setting for php7.

Thanks everyone!

Glad to hear you got it going. It doesn't sound like this was related to JFBConnect, as expected, but if you have any feedback on something we may have missed or any other areas for improvement, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi, it was nothing related to JFBC, it was a server upgrade that did not install everything it was supose to. Thanks for the help.

Awesome. Thanks for letting us know the details. We always like to be aware of issues, especially ones we've never heard of. It helps in case someone else runs into the same problem so we can assist them faster.

Of course, if you need anything else, just let me know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
