In your Twitter application, go back to the "Settings" tab and first enter a Privacy Policy URL and a Terms of Service URL value. Once you enter those and save the app again, you should be able to go back to the Permissions tab to request the email permission.

I'm just starting to update the documentation for the release, so I'll add that these two values are now required for email permissions.

Only Read Only permission is required. JFBConnect will automatically request Write permission from any users that you setup with Channels to also post/write to their feed.

Thanks,
Alex
