creating subscrptions for instagram user

JFBConnect doesn't support the subscription mechanism right now. Both Facebook and Instagram support subscriptions for different activities the user takes on those sites. They are a good fit for JFBConnect and something we have in our to-do list, but I don't have a timeline on when those features would be implemented.

With that said, for Facebook, the subscriptions make more sense for functionality we already have.. we can get an update when the user updates their profile and then update the profile on your site automatically.

For Instagram, we don't currently have a way to pull in a user's photo and don't really plan on sucking in galleries from different social networks. It's very processor consuming to fetch an image, process it (shrink or compress it) and then insert it into an extension on your site. This gets especially difficult on shared hosting environments, which are used by many of our customers. Can you let us know more about where you would want the image stored and how you'd be displaying it if we were to implement such a feature? That will help us understand the use case a bit more whenever we have time to investigate it's implementation.
