Ohanah v3 support was created by evil
Hello Alex,
We're back with a new Subscription.
We updated our website with new version of jfb and ohanah but i noticed there's no more support for JFB in ohanah v3.
I asked their team why there's no more support between your components, they told me they tryed to ask support but their accounts are blocked on the forum. Could you please check what happened? Thank you.

Looking at their user account, it's still enabled and activated so there should be no problem posting on the forum. However, I did not see an active subscription on their account, as the last one we provided expired. I went ahead and re-enabled the subscription. We'd love to work with them and will gladly help them with any integration support.

Hi everybody!

We look forward working with you too. Unfortunately, we are super busy tomorrow, so it will need to wait for the next week.

In the meantime, can you please just tell me what email I can use to create an Ohanah partners subscription for you, so you can always test with the latest version?

BTW, something is wrong with the forum search. I tried to search for "ohanah" and get an empty result.

Best regards,
Bojan

Sure, please use This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. If there's a specific feature you have available, let us know and we'll try to add it to our automated test suite. It will be good to have a subscription either way so we can try to implement some deeper integration as well (suggestions welcome).

As for Search, the box in the top right searches our documentation. I updated the text to make that more clear. To search our forums, you need to use the search in the button bar above the main topic, like:
www.sourcecoast.com/forums/search/advanc...ohanah&search=Search

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Sorry for not contacting you sooner, I was super busy this week.

About the search, yes, now it's easier to understand what search is for what. Thanks!

I just created your account on our system. Please follow these three steps to pick your password docs.ohanah.com/14404-V2-users-guide/how...members-center#steps

Then you will have the full access and you can download latest Ohanah easy.

Now, if I remember correctly, in the previous version of Ohanah, we detected if your plugin is present and if yes, we didn't add any og:tag, the plugin took care. If the plugin is not present, then we added them.

However, I cannot remember what exactly do you need from us to make the plugin aware of Ohanah? Can you please tell me a little bit more about that?

We didn't have any specific integration for Ohanah. JFBConnect automatically adds Open Graph tags to the page no matter the component.

Going forward, we could create an Open Graph plugin that could add specific tags to the Ohanah event pages or even post an action to Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn when a new event is created or when a user joins an existing event. Let us know if this plugin is something you're interested in us adding to JFBConnect and I can add an issue to our tracker. I've set up Alex's account and downloaded your latest release.

Hi Melissa,

If I understand this correctly, that plugin would automatically post an event on the Facebook when a user creates the event in Ohanah? That would be awesome to have! Also, we can use it for cross-promotion of our extensions. Please add it to your tracker.

About the integration, I'll mark to test how newest Ohanah works with newest JFBConnect and I'll let you know of my findings.

I now poked through old code and I think that the "integration" was us detecting your plugin and not populating og:tags while providing enough information for your plugin to do its job properly. You are right, there was nothing about it on your side.

I'll let you know when I test everything. Thank you very much for your time.

Best,
Bojan

Yes, that sounds right. As long as there is a way to detect that the event has been triggered in Ohanah, this is generally easy to add to JFBConnect. I'll add it as an issue to our tracker for more investigation.
