I am having a registration problem on my site blog.accordwithnature.com or blog.accordwithnature.com/create-an-account/ I have tried both option register through jfb and register through joomla and a lot of options within global configuration and messing with permissions but when I register every time it reidrects me back to the registration form with nothing accomplished.

I have been at this a while so I'm hoping you can give me some help.

If the behavior is happening with Joomla in addition to JFBConnect, this is probably not our issue. One thing I did notice is that there is a recaptcha javascript error at the page you linked above. Please disable any captcha options/plugins temporarily and retry the registration.

Thanks for the idea... I had been wondering if maybe there was a captcha problem (obviously in hindsight i should have therefore disabled it) as I knew i had it enabled and yet it didn't appear on the page. Now that I did however instead of taking me back to the registration form it takes me to a blank /index.php and it appears still no user created.

Its possible there is some caching, because my site likes to cache covertly and it will work in 20 minutes or something, but do you have any other suggestions? I've got a thread on joomla forum but generally they have not been able to help my non - extension specific problems like my extension specific problems have been answered by developers.

If the page is completely white, then please set the Error Reporting option in the Joomla -> Global Configuration area to 'maximum'. That should show a PHP error on that blank page which should help narrow things down.

If there is any message on that blank page, let us know what it is.

For caching, you can disable it in the Global Configuration as well and possibly may need to look at your template settings or other 3rd party extensions for possible caching options which may be causing those problems.

Thanks. It still appears to be a captcha problem even tho I have disabled captcha and turned it off in global... any options anywhere else that I'm forgetting about to disable captcha?

Some extensions have their own options to enable/disable captcha.. but not JFBConnect. There's a setting in the Joomla - Global Configuration area, the Users -> Options area and there's even plugins that you can disable for captcha.

I'd check all those spots. Good luck.
