Hello

Since last night I am getting this weird error message. Could anyone please tell me what is wrong and how to solve it?

It says "Access denied!" Your account is either blocked or pending activation"

It appears when i load the page, without doing anything :(

thanks

It sounds like whichever account you're trying to authenticate with is blocked or not activated. Can you check the user manager to see the status for the user?

Thanks,
Alex

No, this happens when the page loads. Right now my site is down till tomorrow for upgrade, but when the home page loads, before you do anything, this error sign appears.

Ideas?

Could you check the access rights for the menu item to make sure it's accessible by the correct user groups?

What indication do you have that this error is occurring because of JFBConnect? Please try disabling all of the JFBConnect plugins and see if the error appears on page load. If it still does, this would indicate that it is not related to our component.

Hi Melisa & Alex,

I did unpublish JFBConnect and I didn't get the error message.
Looking for a solution, last night I upgraded Joomla, JomSocial and JFBConnect to the latest version, after paying the renewal of JFBConnect.

Right now, I still get that error message and now I don't see the SCLogin button.

Any ideas?

Can you let us know where and how we can test? If you can provide admin access details via a Private Message, that will greatly help as well. It sounds like some sort of redirection to a registration only page is happening or an account is being created that isn't activated. Either way, we'll need to investigate further to narrow down the cause.

To PM us, please use the mail icon under our names. Provide any details you can so we can understand how to test and recreate the issue.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank you for your credentials. I just visited your home page and wasn't able to see the error message. I logged into the admin area and saw that all JFBConnect plugins were enabled, so I'd assume the error should show.

As requested above, are there any more details you can provide on how we can recreate the issue? From what you've provided above (go to home page and you see the error), we can't see the problem.

Can you also try from a different browser and while logged in and not logged into Facebook, or any other changes you can try to help narrow down the right way for us to test?

Thanks,
Alex

Alex,

I upgraded Joomla, JomSocial and Kunena and everything slowed down. JFB Connect is not working properly and I don't know the cause. It wasn't working properly before, and after the upgrade it didn't got better.

On the header, the SCLogin button has dissapeared.
If you go to /comunidad/ (community, the JomSocial main page), when you try to login with Facebook, what opens is the facebook windows, not the JFBConnect one.

I think I will have to uninstall the mod and install it all over again... :( Hope it works then

It sounds like the issue is changing from what you originally reported. Can you let me know if the problem you started this thread with is still a problem? That's the issue I was trying to investigate on your site. The stuff in your last post is all new information that you've not mentioned before, so I haven't even tried to look into anything related.

I upgraded Joomla, JomSocial and Kunena and everything slowed down.

That's a lot of things you changed at once. In there, you don't even list JFBConnect. Did the slowdown happen before you just renewed your subscription and installed the latest version, or after? If it happened after you upgraded those 3 parts of your site (but not JFBConnect), I'd have to say that our extension isn't the cause.

If it happened after you upgraded JFBConnect, I'd recommend disabling the JFBCSystem plugin (which disables almost all JFBConnect features) to determine if the slowdown persists. Again, if it is slow, then I don't think JFBConnect could be part of the problem.

JFB Connect is not working properly and I don't know the cause. It wasn't working properly before, and after the upgrade it didn't got better.

Can you explain what 'is not working'? Again, we tried to recreate your original issue, but it sounds like that problem is gone. We'll gladly help however we can, but we need specific details about what isn't working, how you've configured things, and what behavior you're expecting. We don't know your site as intimately as you, so without those details, we simply can't narrow things down very far.

On the header, the SCLogin button has dissapeared.

How is it configured to show up there? I just went into your module manager and the only instance of the SCLogin module is unpublished. I didn't try to enable it because I'm assuming that's not the right one. Please describe how it's configured to show there so we can investigate why it's not working.

If you go to /comunidad/ (community, the JomSocial main page), when you try to login with Facebook, what opens is the facebook windows, not the JFBConnect one.

I just tried logging in on the /comunidad/ page and things behaved as expected. When you click the Facebook button, Facebook will open a prompt for your user credentials and to approve the authentication into your site for the first time. That happened when I tried. After I approved your site, I was redirected back to /comunidad/inicio with the message:

Mensaje
Perfil de Facebook conectado con éxito.

That's exactly what I'd expect. What are you expecting?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

yes, the original problem remains. Justo now I got this message, just after loading the page.

drive.google.com/file/d/0ByVrbJQCE60vaHp...nc/edit?usp=drivesdk

That module of SCLogin is not the right one.

I will uninstall JFBConnect and start all over again.

Thanks!
