Hi Guys,

My LinkedIn sharing tag does not behave the way it should. It displays whatever I write into the title of the tag but does not function like a LinkedIn Share icon, so effectively, all my {JLinkedLogin} tag does is redirect people to my homepage.

Please help.

Regards,

Clarence

A common culprit is that the 'Social Tag Admin Key' has a value set in our backend but not the easy-tag you're trying to insert. The syntax to add this would be:
{JLinkedLogin key=blah}

You can also try the following instead to see if this helps:
{JFBCLogin providers=linkedin}

Going forward, please post from the account that you have purchased your subscription from. It will help us to see more detailed information about your site from Autotune to help debug your issues. Additionally, prioritized support is for active subscribers as well.

Hi Mel,

This is the account I bought JFBConnect from. Neither of your above solutions worked.

Hope you can reassess and advise me again.

Cheers.

You mention "My LinkedIn sharing tag", but then are using the {JLinkedLogin} tag. Are you trying to add a login button to your site, or the LinkedIn Share Button? If you want the share button, please use the correct tag:
{JLinkedShare}
(for the current page)
Or
{JLinkedShare href=http://www.sourcecoast.com/}
If you want to specify a specific page to share.

I hope that helps, but if not, please let us know exactly what you are trying to accomplish, what you are doing, and what is or isn't working. Also, please provide a page we can see the issue on to investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex, it turns out I was after a LinkedIn Share tag after all. Thanks for fixing my problem.

Sorry for the confusion on my part. I didn't put it together that you were using the incorrect tag and missed that you wanted the Share instead of Login button. I'm glad that Alex got this resolved for you. Let us know if you run into any other issues.
