Hi!
I have uninstalled and installed JFB_connection twice on my joomla 3.4 ( It gave me error from the profile.php so i did not work properly )
Therefore I put a question to the support and was helped by Melissa . (she gave me a quickfix code on line 115 in profile.php)

But after that...when I go inside to manage my jfb_modules (to choose between the different jfb_connections) I only can choose one, and that is jgb_social share.
All of the other modules as Social Widgets, the Stream and the others I can not enable or publish. I can see them in the list as modules as unpublished.
I can manage them, and I can choose where to assign them etc. But when I try to publish them it they still are redcrossed (not published ).

(In the JFB configuration, test and error serching there is nothing wrong) I can use shortecode for comments etc, but I want to have the oppertunity to this in new >modules>jfb_social stream etc.

I have tried to install the jfb_connect several times but it says everything is ok....I dont understand what to do.

Erika,
The publishing and unpublishing of modules is handled completely by Joomla itself. There's nothing in our code that would un-publish one of our modules automatically.

I'm not sure why you can't publish, but it sounds like more of an underlying issue with Joomla itself. It's definitely not something we've heard of before.

Are you having this problem with any other modules in Joomla? When you're in the Joomla module manager, can you try clicking the red-cross for our modules, which should publish them from the list view. If that doesn't work, does any error message appear?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

no I don´t have problems with other modules...

The problem started after I sent jfb modules to trash.(I did that because of the error)
After that I reinstalled JFB_connect, and made the quickfix changes in profile.php. And everything seemed to look great after that.

Thereafter I went back to the modules, (the only module that was shown now in my "modulepanel" was the jfb_socialshare.)
The others were in the trash. Therefore I picked the trashed jfb modules to publish them again. And when I did so, the joomla-system said "ok, now they are published again" ....(and after that the trash was empty)
The problem come after that. The only way now to see the modules were from the filter-list (as an example I cant see them when I want to set up new modules)

But when I click in the filter for example after socialstream it comes up and is showned as unpublished. From there I tried to publish it again, and the joomlasystem said "that your module is published" But its not. Its still redcrossed.

I understand if the problems maybe come after my manage with modules to trash....but there must be some way to handle it to work again.
I dont now who to ask for help if you not can´t help me...
I´m very greatful for all help and support!

regards, Erika

Are you able to create a new instance of the modules and do those work correctly? It sounds like some odd behavior on Joomla's part.

There were no images attached. After you upload them, you need to click the green arrows to insert them into the post.

We'd really like to see those images as this is a very strange issue we haven't heard of. I'm not sure if it's a Joomla 3.4 issue or something else, but we'll gladly help investigate.

If you can, please feel free to Private Message me admin credentials and I'll take a look myself. You can PM me by clicking the mail icon under my picture to the left.

Thanks,
Alex
