Are you trying to have the SCLogin module open in a modal popup? If so, there's an option for that already in the SCLogin module, which will open the login area in a popup just like on this site. All that will display on the page normally is just a "Login" and/or "Register" link.
If you need to display the SCLogin links in a menu, that's more difficult as Joomla doesn't have an option to show modules in a menu. However, we have some information on ways that may work for you in our
