Hello!!

In my web site installed JFBConnect v6.2.4 on Joomla 3.3.6. I have the following problems with "SCSocial stream":

a) I need to have "streams" from LinkedIn and Google+ providers. When I try do define the LinkedIn channel I obtain the following error message when I choose the user (Luca Ventura) to link to this channel:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/ventur42/public_html/portal/components/com_jfbconnect/libraries/provider/linkedin/channel/fields/linkedincompanylist.php on line 24

This error doesn't allow me to crete channel. Below you can see the screen shoot of this error message.

In the second case (Google+ channel) when I try to create the "Google+" channel I don't find the "Google+" provider listed in the "Provider" drop-down menu of the Provider section. How come?

b) I would like to "embed" social stream module in my Joomla articles. Is it possible using some tag?

Thanks a lot.

Luca

a) The warning message you're getting happens when we can't fetch a list of Company Pages that you own. Can you make sure that you're re-authenticated on the front-end of your site and granted the proper permissions for LinkedIn so that JFBConnect is able to fetch info about and post to your company page?

b) We don't currently have a social stream easy tag. It's something planned, but not available yet. If you just want to place the module in an article, you can use the Content - Load Module plugin which comes with Joomla. That will allow you to configure the SCSocialStream module in the (let's say "socialstream" position) and then use the {loadposition socialstream} tag to show it in your content.

I hope that helps,
Alex

I just wanted to add that the only supported social streams right now are Facebook Pages and Groups, LinkedIn Company Pages and Twitter Streams. Google is not supported for this feature currently.

Hello!!

About the problem at point a): is it possible the reason of the error message is because I haven't a company page in LinkedIn? In fact I have only a personal page:

it.linkedin.com/pub/luca-ventura/33/b5b/445

Let me know, thanks.

Luca

Ahh, we didn't realize that it was a personal page. Yes, that it likely the culprit, as we only support Company Pages at this time.
