I have read several forum threads on the Pinterest icon not displaying and tried some of the suggestions but I still can't get a Pinterest icon to display.

If I use a javascript pinmarklet to pin images from the page, 11 images are found.

I've enabled everything in the JFBConnect > Social > Content Plugin-Like settings. I've cleared cache and cookies repeatedly, turned GZip compression on and off, re-run auto-tune several times, re-created the FB app and uninstalled and re-installed JFBConnect to troubleshoot.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks so much.

I don't see the Pin It code anywhere on that page. Can you check the JFBConnect -> Social configuration area and ensure that the PinIt button is actually enabled?

Also, is that a Blog layout or a Article layout? Either way, please enable the Open Graph - Content plugin, which will help JFBConnect identify the best image to share on your page.

If none of that helps, just let me know, and I'll gladly help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

The Pinit button was enabled in the JFBConnect -> Social configuration area. The page is a single article menu item.

Enabling the Open Graph - Content plugin did the trick!

Thanks.

The Pinit button displays now, but if there are several images on the page is there a way to choose which image to pin?

Awesome! I'm glad to hear that got you going.

JFBConnect will generally take the first image in the article. There are other ways to configure how the image is fetched, like by using the 'main image' of the article. If you have multiple images in the article and want to set the PinIt button to another, you'd need to add the following tag in the article itself:
{SCOpenGraph image=http://site.com/link-to-image.jpg}
That will have JFBConnect set the proper Open Graph image tag, Twitter image tag and Pinterest tag so that, when the page is shared, your custom image is used.

I hope that helps, but if not, or you need anything else, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
