Autotune issue was created by tmsrDD
I have been working through all of the information to configure JFBCOnnect on this website:
www.sedinaz.org/

I got to the part requiring a Privacy Policy (Facebook's requirement), used the Generate Privacy Policy site to create this page:
www.sedinaz.org/privacy-policy

I use this URL and also the email I want in the required email spot (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.), click on Use Custom Settings. I get an error and my newly-entered informaiton is "blown out" and I can't get past this requirement in AutoTune. Please see my two attachments:

Ahh.. I see the problem. The error is because the Contact Email address is also blank. It appears that the User Support Email *and* Contact Email address are now required by Facebook.

Please fill in the Contact Email address as well and you should be able to save properly. We'll update the Autotune configuration tool as well, but would love to have your feedback first if it helps get you going so we know that it's a proper fix.

Thanks,
Alex

Yes, adding in the Contact Email did the trick.
However, moving on in Autiotune, I can't get past the Error Check. It tells me this:
Authorization Failed
We're sorry, your subscription could not be validated. The online error check tool is only available to active subscribers.

Please check your Subscriber Id in the "Basic Info" step and retry.

Subscription Information:

user: User Not Found!
subscription: No Subscription Found!
expires: No Subscription Found!

I am also being told I have to update JFBConnect manually in my Updater - so these may be related. I don't understand, though, since I have added the SourceCoast Subscription ID that I was sent in my signup email from you in as many places as I find it: The Configuration page and in the first screen of AutoTune, it shows my Subscription Status as what it should be, expiring in August 2014. Please advise.

I re-checked my Subscription ID within this login area and sure enough, it was very different from what I found in my signup information I had saved...
I replaced it in the Sutotune system and now, when running Error Check, I get this:
JFBConnect Remote Error Check
Checks performed on: www.sedinaz.org/
Warning: Issues were found with your site. Please check all tests below and correct any warnings or errors.
1. Test: JFBCSystem plugin is enabled
o Fail: Not Detected! Please enable in the Site Config area of Autotune or in the Joomla plugin manager.

If the JFBCSystem plugin is enabled, but you still get this error, please check:
 Your site is not in Offline Mode. If so, turn your site Online and re-run the Error Checker.
 If you have a 'mobile template', disable it and re-test
 Some templates have their own Facebook integration, and actively try to remove other Facebook extensions files. Try a different template.

No further tests can be run until fixed.
If you are having issues, please ensure your Facebook Application does not have the "Sandbox Mode" setting enabled. You can check that setting in the Facebook Application Area in the "Basic" section.

I double-checked and my JFBSystem plugin IS enabled.
I am NOT in Offline mode.
The only other Facebook plugins I have are JFB's. No Modules that have the word Facebook in it. There is a Zen Social module that allows a link-only to Facebook -?

What do you suggest?

I just ran the Autotune Error Check tool on your site and all tests are passing. Are you still seeing this issue? I also manually looked at your page and everything the Autotune checker looks for, and things I know to look for as well, all look right.

I didn't test any features directly, but again, from what I can see, things are correct.

Let me know if you still are seeing the error message in Autotune and we'll gladly help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

Yes, I just went through and I did successfully execute Autotune. Even though I did delete the cache and Purge it yesterday, perhaps it was a cache issue? Anyway, glad I finally made it through that and thank you for your help doing so. I am on to learning about all the features and options JFBConnects offers and how to configure the ones I want to use.

My last issue seems to be that the Joomla Updater is still telling me I have to perform the update from JFBConnect 6.0.2 to 6.0.3 manually. Do you know how I can get the updater to work automatically?

Very happy that you got Autotune to run successfully. I'm not sure what the issue was. Caching could definitely have been a problem if you're using page caching in Joomla, since the 'old' page may have been rendered instead of the new one with the new JFBConnect features.

As for the Joomla updater, there is no way to use it to automatically update JFBConnect right now. You need to download the latest release from this site and install it using the Joomla installer. You don't need to uninstall or do anything else first. JFBConnect will automatically update your settings and it should be a very smooth process.

We use the Joomla Updater as a notification tool, but can't perform automatic updates because there's no way to validate a subscription when using it.

I hope that helps explain and get you going,
Alex
