Hello, I´ve just bought and installed JFBConnect on my Joomla website and when I make the login it doesn´t work. it redirect me to my home page without connect my facebook in my joomla website. I could realize that the SCLogin doesn´t work as well but there´s a thing that you should know to help me understand what´s wrong .When I am logged with administration ID it works but if I try to connect with another facebook ID that doesn´t belong to my administration joomla website it does´t work.
Please help me.
My website is: www.mochileirospelomundo.com/index.php

Natalia,
The "Sign in with Facebook" button on your home page is not from JFBConnect. That looks to be from JomSocial. You should be using the SCLogin module or {JFBCLogin} tag to add the JFBConnect login button to your site where you want the social buttons to be.

For more information on integration with JomSocial, please see our social network login integration for JomSocial .

I hope that helps,
Alex

Hello Alex,

I have the same problem and I'm using SCLogin. When Facebook button is clicked, a Facebook popup comes, and when authentication is done it returns to our web site main page: www.titamia.com (Joomla 2.5.16).

The joomla and the Google + login works fine, so I suppose it is the Facebook App which is not configured correctly!

Facebook app config:

- Facebook App ID and App Secret have been entered in the JFBConnect config
- Display name: Titamia
- Namespace: titamia
- email: Entered ok
- App Domains: titamia.com
- Sandbox Mode: Disabled

- Web site with Facebook Login (redirect url), I tried:
* www.titamia.com
* www.titamia.com/index.php?option=com_jfb...ck&provider=facebook

And only Facebook does not work? What am I missing?

Current web site: www.titamia.com

Thank you.

Jean-Marc

Jean-Marc,
The issue is that the Bootstrap Javascript library is not being loaded onto your site. That's required for the Modal "You are now being logged in" popup to display. Please enable the "Include jQuery" setting in JFBConnect which will include a compatibility mode version of jQuery and the Bootstrap library and should get you going.

Otherwise, disable the "Show 'logging in' popup" setting in JFBConnect.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Thank you it solved the problem.

(The double post was not intentional...)

Glad we could help! Should you need anything else, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
