Login without FB button redirects to https, not http

Login without FB button redirects to https, not http

Hi again Alex,

I have just found another issue, not sure if it's a config issue. Users logging in with FB button work nicely, the problem comes when you log in typing user and password, you get redirected to https://url.com instead of http://url.com.

I am using autotune recomended settings plus FB app has only enable the login service app , nothing about tabs or canvas.

Any idea?

Thanks,

wailer

Re: Login without FB button redirects to https, not http

In the SCLogin module there is a setting for "Encrypt Login Form". It sounds like you enabled that. To prevent it from forcing SSL (https) on login, please disable that setting.

I hope that helps, but if not, let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

No problem and glad we could help. It's what we're here for! Should you need anything else or have any other questions, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Facebook has begun sending out notices to Facebook Application administrators that v2.0 of the Graph API will be deprecated on August 8, 2016. The message can be a bit cryptic on it's own. It's very difficult to know what it means when you're using an extension like JFBConnect for integration, since it's supposed to mask you from the inner workings of Facebook integration for Joomla. If you're confused, concerned or just curious, read our blog post to understand what the message means and what you need to do. https://lnkd.in/e8Uiikf
